The Mount is Messed Up

I read the mount won't release the light once mounted. I tried it several times before mounting it. There did not seem to be an issue other than it took some force. I mounted it, and sure enough, it will not release. I can't even force it with a screwdriver.My theory is that the mount is flimsy enough that when tightened down, it becomes distorted and prohibits the mount from releasing.

Pros

The built-in bike alarm horn can be triggered remotely to alert others of possible theft

Not useful in off-road biking situations
