I find it tragic when you read great reviews about a mascara, decide to buy it and then come home and it's missing the waterproof label. That's exactly what happened to me, but instead of giving up, I was looking for something that could waterproof my mascara. That's how I came across this product. I apply mascara as usual, wait for it to dry (that's the main thing, the mascara layer MUST be dry), then apply a layer or two of a waterproof top. I can't tell you how much it saved a life (and money). I have found this product particularly helpful for me, I live in a hot and humid environment and NEED waterproofing. I highly recommend.
