Better than washcloths/sponges IMHO
Having showered with sponges/loofahs/bath gloves for years I can 100% say I will stick with bath gloves. Bath gloves are much more hygienic than other washing items as they dry much faster, which prevents the growth of bacteria. These bath gloves are able to exfoliate the skin very well and penetrate into small areas like between the toes and armpits that need to be exfoliated. Nooks and crannies a bath sponge can hold. The bath sponge does not dry very quickly, which increases the chances of bacteria growing on it.
