I assembled it myself in about 45 minutes. Pretty basic but the instructions were a bit confusing when it came time to add the little door hooks so I just left it without the hooks and it's ok. I use it to store yarn and other light materials. I made three wide ones and two tall ones and it's pretty low. Seems strong enough. I have previously bought one of these units but without doors and use it for my wallets so I know it can hold heavier items. I also like that it's modular so I can take it apart and put it back together in any configuration I want, or I can buy another set and build on what I already have.
