Purchased these shoes solely for trekking Mount Katahdin (Maine's highest peak) as I wasn't interested in buying hiking shoes. I have rather weak ankles and was nervous that these shoes might be too unstable for the more difficult trail we were on. The recommendations were to find a trail runner and I would be fine. These shoes were great, fit well and they were comfortable out of the box. The fabric on the toe box couldn't take the constant rubbing against the boulders so I won't be wearing these shoes again until one more climb, but they were very cute! My legs felt supported aside from the apparent lack of ankle support. No blisters. Great shoes!
