Review on Tomtoc Shoulder Multi Functional Briefcase Messenger by Dre Fishburne

You get what you pay for unless you buy Tomtoc.

You get what you pay for unless you buy a Tomtoc. I don't know how this company makes money. They make great products with attention to detail and charge nothing, in fact most of their prices are cheap compared to the same quality from established brands. I needed a thin, not too big briefcase for my work laptop. . I don't need huge 15-16 inch briefcases that look like I'm carrying nuclear launch codes, and the Dell-issued bag is ridiculous at best. I used one of their backpacks during my six years of college and the "big boy" for the early years of my professional life, not to mention various laptop bags, organizers and even a wallet. I know what to expect from Tomtoc and you've done it again. The durable Cordura case borders on ballistic feel and should last almost forever considering I'm using it in a work environment. The handles are not too long so it feels like a real men's briefcase, not a women's handbag. Part of the bag for a laptop is lined with super plush stuff that I didn't want to stop touching, and the entire area of the laptop is surrounded by some pretty serious padding. Seriously, nobody protects laptops like these guys. is it spacious Should I take a bottle of water and a textbook? Well, either one or the other, not a fat textbook. This briefcase is for the semi-minimalist who doesn't want to take everything they have to work or good luck with something. If you're carrying a battery, a hard drive, and all those gadgets you just featured on your YouTube channel, check out one of their backpacks. For me I wanted something more than a case that doesn't have a huge profile but can carry the essentials for the job and this messenger is the way to go. It fits my 13" Dell, my wallet, my phone (iPhone 6s), wireless headphones, moleskin, and my notepad, which has room for a pen, pencil, knife, and matchbox (you never know).

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Infinitely slow
