This shirt is true to size. I am 5'7", 220 lbs. I typically wear either an XL or a 1X. I ordered an XL of this shirt and that is what I'm wearing in the picture. Then there is the matter of my "curves". It was a bit form-fitting for those. I think if I had been able to get a slightly larger size it would have looked better. As it was it doesn't look terrible but I do have some clothes that are more suitable for me. Its is everything the description says - casual or dressy, stretchy, soft, comfortable, etc. It would look extremely nice on someone with an hourglass figure. Even if you can barely say that the shirring on the sides will really accent your waist. I did wash and dry the shirt. I removed it from the drying promptly but it was somewhat wrinkled. My dryer ends the cycle while the clothes are a tiny bit damp. Once the shirt dries it will likely be smooth. If not then I doubt any wrinkles will be visible upon wearing it due to the nature of the fabric.
