Okay I didn't expect to have to put it together but to be honest it wasn't difficult. No tools required. I will say it is quite difficult to put on but I found it to come off quite easily which was annoying. I noticed a replacement part in a small package, which put me under a big question mark. BEFORE I started adjusting this stand to where I wanted it and it detached again but this time the piece of plastic that the foot slides into has detached and it no longer stays on. Then I realize that the parts are for the black part. It made me think they knew it was coming, which annoyed me because it made me feel cheap. In addition, it is sturdy and durable in place. Feel like rough metal.
