These cargo straps are wide and strong. They make it easy to secure your motorcycle, ATV or lawn tractor. My son recently bought a house and I agreed to give him my old garden tractor. I drop it off in the back of my pickup truck and these straps secure it at all four corners. Why not just use ratchet weight straps? They are not optimal as you have to fold the strap in half and use the S hook to grab the strap. There is a possibility that the S hook will fall out of the folded strap. There is also a chance that the metal S hook will come into contact with your car's paintwork and scratch it. These straps solve these problems by working with ratchet straps. They offer a much better mechanism for securing your load. You use them by first attaching them to the vehicle and then attaching the Ratchet S-Strap to it. They offer a much more secure and reliable attachment mechanism. These straps are made of durable, double-stitched nylon. My only criticism of these straps - both positive and negative - they are very wide. The S-hook on the tension belt may be too small for you. However, this does not detract from their strength and high quality in general. Just make sure your "S" hooks are wide enough to accommodate your 1.5" loop.
