This is a very basic AM/FM radio that can be worn on a belt or carried in a pocket. It comes with a set of headphones. The manual actually says it takes triple A batteries, but it takes 2 double size batteries (not included). Conveniently located on one side of the radio are two rotary controls, one for tuning and one for volume. On the same side as the dials is a switch to switch from FM stereo to FM and AM. The on/off switch is on the top, next to it is the headphone jack. There are no speakers so you must use headphones or earphones to listen. The sound quality is excellent and the tuning is very sensitive. It is very light and small - only 3.5 x 1.75 x 0.75. If you're looking for a basic radio that you can clip to your belt or carry in your shirt pocket and listen to while you work, this is for you.
