Do not be afraid! husband loves it!
As with most reviews, be sure to follow the label directions. My husband swears by this product, but in his "southern" regions he mentions that timing is the trick. First I cut my hair then applied for 2 minutes (he has very sensitive skin) but jumped in the shower and loved it. Thank you for making my husband happy :)
