Reviews generally accurate. The scent is strong and slightly soapy. I like it and I especially love the scent. We all have our preferences, it won't be for everyone. Moisturizes and absorbs well, leaving no greasy stains. I bought it because it was more expensive than Burt's or L'occitane and thought it would be better in quality and taste than Gold Bond, which it is. If you really want the best and don't care about the price, I recommend Kiehl's Ultimate Hand Salve. It's a eucalyptus flavor because it contains eucalyptus oil and Revain doesn't usually sell it. Kiehl's also makes other flavors, but as far as I know, they're not as thick.
