They last 3 months in a typical 4 year old boy before they start to develop cavities in the toes. I've treated them pretty well every time they've been cleaned. I have turned them inside out in the washing machine and washed them in lukewarm water with softer clothes, then hung them to dry each time. He wore winter boots most days. As such, they keep a pretty decent time. But they are very warm, quite thick and quite comfortable. After much deliberation I will buy them again.
