This seat cover is ideal for protecting chairs under booster seats from dropped, broken or spilled food. It also protects against dirty shoes resting on the front of the chair cushion. I have four; one for each grandson. I think it would also be useful in the car under a car seat or cushion, although I haven't tried it. It is waterproof and can be easily wiped clean with warm water. It's large enough to accommodate almost any size chair. I still use it for my oldest granddaughter (6 years old). She no longer needs the baby pillow, but she still falls and spills like most children do.
