The lighting is not compatible with electric timers.

The settings for the light strands are not saved/saved when the timer is used. So when the timer is turned back on, the lights will start cycling through all the settings just like in demo mode. I have multiple strings plugged into different outlets so the light cycles are different for each string. It's very frustrating and very hard to watch... I think I'll try leaving the lights on 24/7 for a month or come back and find another solution.
