Edit: I almost forgot to mention that it's padded! It has padding on the top, bottom, back, and at the end of the lens area.This is a solidly lovely case. It fits the camera with eye cup and kit lens quite comfortably, the stitching is good, the snaps are solid, and even the strap that it comes with is nice quality (although, full disclosure, I don't know how to attach the strap so I haven't used it).It's fully lined with a soft material that matches the leather color. It's nice because it's gentle but doesn't seem at all inclined to shedding. All in all, I like it a lot.My only concern is the fact that one of the snaps for the top connects on the battery case flap and pulls it. I could see it getting weaker over time, but it might relax instead, so I'm not sure it's really a problem.
