**update** we had them 2.5 months, the sole and bottom inside to the heel were completely worn out. My son is very active and usually runs 5 miles a day several times a week. Will spend more for more durable running shoes. Still think this is just a good shoe for school/scooter. I bought size 1/little boy for a 5 year old, it fits perfectly. Likes: - Lightweight and not too tight - Easy to put on and take off - He said it was great for running. Dislikes: - Velcro doesn't feel secure/looks cheap. I would have found a way to sew it more securely. - Doesn't look waterproof or waterproof, I mean a lot of shoes aren't, but this one looks weird. I don't expect it to last that long but for the price and fact it does. It's great that children grow up so quickly
