I recently purchased a Glacier Bay 2680 Catamaran and had a number of these previously installed on it. Everything was fine with the old ones, except they were faded. But I am who I am and I like whatever I have to look good and function properly. I replaced some of the old ones that were on the boat when I bought it. It's nice to know that a manufacturer keeps dimensions and screw holes consistent over time. I installed them on two decks Yamaha 150. Reading the manual, they recommended installing them on the boat. The manual said adding them would improve fuel economy slightly and increase top speed by a few miles per hour. I removed the boat as I removed the old ones to see the difference and after reinstalling they gave me a few more mph on top and helped stabilize the boat as this is a catamaran you don't have any Add trim tabs.
