These lanterns arrived earlier than expected which is very nice. The headlights themselves leave a lot to be desired. The back of the lights where the cords enter the lights is poorly designed. The insulation on the wires has been torn from the case and passing them through a conductive surface could cause a short circuit. The lights themselves are bright in the dark, but during the day these lights are mediocre at best. I bought them to build a lightbar in combination with a turn signal I bought. At this point I'm so disappointed with these lights that I'm looking for an alternative to them so I can still build the lightbar I was hoping they would work for. If you're only interested in them being visible in the dark and don't mind modifying them to use them safely, go ahead. Otherwise, I would advise staying away from them.
