Review on GoPro Chest Mount Harness Official by Marquez Hinshaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for bodyboarders!

If you search "IBA GoPro Highlights" on YouTube you will see that all riders use this chest strap but turn it around so the camera is on their lower back. So when you ride a wave, the camera shoots almost half of your body over your shoulder. I tested it in BIG Surf. 8' - 10' Hawaiian waves every rider will tell you about. You have serious power. Enough to throw you on the reef, drown you, etc. Well, I made an addition to this chest strap: I bought a steel fishing liter. You can buy it at most tackle shops. This is a steel cord about 12 inches long. They use it to catch large marine fish that can bite off the line, such as sharks. Strap attachment and a piece around the gopro. You are essentially making a steel line. Since I had her on my back, I wanted to mentally make sure she would stay attached to the harness if she jumped off. Also, my GoPro can attach a Backdoor Floaty, which is a large orange foam float. With a steel liter and an orange float, you can feel confident with any surfing size. Every bodyboarder who owns a GoPro should get one! The only thing it doesn't work for is knee down riding. You can rotate it on your chest like it needs to be carried, but it's too heavy to paddle when the camera crashes on the board. For riders with low knees I would recommend an Australian 50mm bar mount or head strap mount. After all, no matter what mount I use, I ALWAYS have a steel liter around me. It's fallen out of my surfboard mount many times (I surf too) and it's fallen out of my 50mm pole mount. We hope this detailed review will help you with your next purchase.
