Wow! I was able - and that's saying a lot - to cut down my tree and carry it down the stairs myself without my husband's help! We recently purchased a beautiful unlit Christmas tree that consists of three traditional pieces. I bought an unlit tree instead of a pre-lit tree because I was tired of the lights burning out. So I hung garlands on a tree - my least favorite job - and I was like, ha! I can now easily replace my headlights when they burn out! But I forgot to remember that because I really didn't want to rethread the garlands every year, and when I disassemble the tree I have to do just that. So I started looking for ways to store the assembled Christmas tree with the lights (not decorations). I found this product and it was great. Our tree is smaller, only 5 feet tall, but it is thick. I was able to carry the tree down the stairs to the basement room using the side straps without having to wait for my husband to come home and help me.
