. This battery is an ICOM BP264 replacement and works great with my IC-T70A. While the fit and belt clip are identical to the original BP264, the charging capabilities are slightly different from the original manufacturer's. Apparently I can't read the description, so I tried to charge this battery with my original ICOM BC-167SA IC-T70A charger. After 48 hours of charging, the battery voltage reaches 7.4 V, but drops to 5 V within a few minutes in pure reception mode. I worked with Aimtobest and they refunded the purchase price of the battery but continued to work with me to ensure that the battery was indeed the problem. They sent me a BC123SE charger and a base charger to fix the source of the problem. It turned out that my original charger didn't provide enough power to charge this battery, but the new charger they sent worked great and charged the battery in about 2 hours. Now that I have the correct charger the battery shows 8.8v after charging and after about 4 hours of work on reception it shows 8.1v. Aimtobest support said they are working on improving the characteristics of the battery improve it so that it can be charged with a lower amperage charger. Hopefully there will be a newer version soon. Overall I'm very happy with the battery - will most likely buy another one as a backup. Aimtobest's customer service/technical support is also very good, they responded quickly to all my questions and worked to ensure that I was 100% satisfied.
