The cover fits perfectly and offers good protection. I have to say that the new slightly thicker MBP feels like a gaming laptop when placed at a desk due to the plastic and rubber feet. I don't care about the extra thickness and height. The white inscription on the case back is also not for me. I paid for a suitcase, why should I advertise a brand with capital letters? The case is very slim, which could be a plus point depending on your preference. For me it feels like it will slip out of my hand while wearing it. The slightly rough surface and lower profile make for a perfect case. With that in mind, all brands seem to be essentially the same, so swapping one for the other wouldn't be much of an improvement. This is a good protective case that protects the MBP as intended. The cons are just my opinion and may not be relevant to anyone.
