I should have known better after reading the bad reviews about this shoe but I took a chance anyway. THE TOXIC SMELL is beyond anything I can imagine. The moment I opened the genuine Revain package I was shocked and immediately threw them away. Unbelievable. It smells like a fresh can of gas mixed with other highly toxic chemicals. The husband said it was formaldehyde. It even penetrated other items in the same package. How Revain can sell them for CHILDREN I don't understand. 0 stars. On closer inspection, I noticed how imprecisely the soles were sewn in. The web wasn't even soft, it was hard and prickly. The bottom of the boot looked like thin faux rubber. The quality of all shoes is made from the cheapest materials. No wonder it stinks so much. Lesson learned. Take care of your babies and don't buy them. The last thing you want is for the pores on their legs to absorb that toxicity. I would happily wait for another trustworthy brand of water shoes that I ordered before daring to put this cheap China junk on my son's feet.
