To be honest the reason I bought these sleeves was purely cosmetic because my boys wanted to look like their favorite basketball players. You seem to prefer one at a time because it looks cooler apparently? I don't know but I just wanted to be honest that I can't rate the functionality of these cases. I have a 10 year old and an 8 year old and they both seem to fit perfectly with no slipping or anything. If you're looking for sun protection, they definitely work, and if you cover them up with braces or a headband, they'll fit just fine too. The material seems great and strong and so far they haven't snagged or anything that would lead me to believe they would fall apart. certainly seem to think they're faster and better at everything while they're at it. I'm sure these sleeves have made them at least 10% better in basketball and this performance gain for the price is a steal! To be honest they were pretty cheap and my kids love them so they really were a steal.
