Review on Enhance Connectivity with EYOOLD USB Converter Adapter Optical by Huntsville Rawson

I plugged in the power supply of the first one I came across and immediately started smoking. There are no problems with the exchange. At first I couldn't get it to work on a 40GB 3.5" drive from a recently crashed PC, but it worked fine on the 2.5" drive I had. I ended up connecting the 3.5" drive to the old PC's power supply to power it on and set the jumpers as the master drive to be able to read and restore the information on the drive. If all of that doesn't put you off, this is a handy device at a reasonable price. If you feel like this is more work than you'd like, you might want to consider other options. But for me it works well and I would recommend it to other hobbyists. suggest using an external power supply with 3.5" drives (turns out I don't even use a 12 volt wall cube).
