Review on πŸ‘“ Newbee Fashion - Spring Temple Reading Glasses with Pocket Clip Aluminum Case for Convenient Portability by Lautaro Olive

Very good compact reading glasses. I love the business!

I've been buying these reading glasses for YEARS, although for the first few years I bought them from the local store where I first saw them. I've always loved them, MUCH more than my expensive optometrist readers. They're small enough that you can look up from the top to talk to someone or look at something in the distance. That way you don't have to constantly take them off and on when everything is blurry when looking at readers in the distance. I love the opportunity to carry it in my purse because it takes up almost no space. I keep a few in my purse, in my car, by my bed, by my reading chair, in the bathroom, at my dining room table to read my mail, on my desk, and on my computer desk. They last a long time (until my grandkids grab them and stretch them so they fall off my head if I even start looking down). I removed one star because of several "cons": (1) If you get colored ones, eventually (albeit briefly) the color fades in various places and they start to look "dirty". (2) While not easily scratched, I've had a few pairs where one of the lenses broke off. Again, this was after a lot of use and I'm not ready to put it back in its case. If I did, the chips probably wouldn't be an issue. (3) Nose pads sometimes come off and easily lost because they are so small. But Newbee now sells replacement nose pads in various quantities at a pretty cheap price. (They used to be listed at the bottom of the color picker. They are now listed at the bottom of the magnifying power picker.) (4) My biggest complaint is that the ones I buy from Newbee are rectangular, although the corners are soft (rounded) . But the ones I used to have were oval and I liked that shape much, much more, but that's a matter of personal taste purely for looks. When I needed a bigger magnification, my local shop unfortunately ran out of it, so I looked to Revain. Glad to find them but disappointed with the rectangular shape. All in all, very good reading glasses. I will continue to buy more of these (although I hope to find them in an oval shape again one day) and I would certainly recommend them.
