Great headphones for the price. I use them with my Xbox One but bought the PS4 because I liked blue more than green or red and they were a few bucks cheaper. They all work the same, the different colors are just marketing. In terms of sound, I was very impressed with the $30 headphones. Bass, mids and highs are very well balanced in my opinion and none of it sounds dull or muddy. Admittedly, I'm a layman when it comes to gaming headsets, but in general I'm pretty picky about the tech and I'm quite happy with it. This headset is also surprisingly comfortable, although I've noticed it's a little tight if you have a large head. I have a medium sized head and can wear them for hours without discomfort. The built-in volume control works great and they get decently loud. I don't usually turn them all the way out. I was told the mic sounded clear when I tested it; However, I bought them to use primarily as gaming headphones as neither my boyfriend nor I play online often but we have roommates who don't appreciate it when we turn up the volume on our TV at night. I leave the mic unplugged most of the time so it doesn't get in the way when we're not using it, which is a nice feature. I plan to be very careful with the microphone because I've read that it can break easily. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of this gaming headset compared to similarly priced ones. I hope they hold up well, but it looks like they will if you don't handle them too roughly. Edit: It's not noise-cancelling, the way the earcups fit me actually blocks out a lot of ambient noise as is. If any sound penetrates them, all they hear is your playing.
