This belt is actually bluer, more vibrant than I expected, meaning it's not very appropriate to wear with my navy blue suit in a professional setting, but it's still an interesting belt to keep in my carry daily life. There is another belt from this company that has had some abuse so I don't think brand quality is an issue. It looks like it is natural, regular leather, not a composite or man-made material. It is not as stiff and durable as a very high-quality leather belt, but it is definitely suitable for a "normal" belt. The wood grain buckle is subtle and eye-catching and would pair very well with a suit and tie if the blue were just a few shades deeper. Great belt for jeans. The buckle is more of a button than a regular belt loop, but it's reliable if you're not fumbling with it. It is measured accurately. This means it is smaller than the vanity sizes. I would order a size up if unsure. There are many holes, so it is a good long-term belt if your waist size is different. The color of the belt does not fade from clothing, even when wet or when working outdoors. The product comes in a gift box. I would first remove the plastic cover from the belt and put it back in the box. It's a bit pricey for this level of quality, but it's a good belt, unusual enough to be interesting and general enough to work in public.
