Bought for my daughter for Christmas. She was 17 months old at the time and really enjoyed it. Can get on and off independently and quickly learned to ride it. Love that it's classic white - there's so much modern junk - it's exactly what I was looking for. It's fairly easy to put together, although I did put a few things in backwards and then had to disassemble and reassemble. I also screwed a few parts in too tight, which caused small cracks in the wood - nothing serious or detrimental to the structure. The instructions clearly say be careful! In addition, screwing on the handlebars and footrest is a bit difficult. But overall not bad. We keep it on the porch which is closed but one day it was standing in the rain and bulging a little around some of the screw holes. So I would say that it is not waterproof!
