Don't expect to fit a 20 lb container of laundry detergent in this thing, it's not designed for that. It's perfect for me to hold pet food cans, so I'm sure that it is also suitable for all canned food, small boxes such as cake mixes, household cleaners, sponges, etc. Provided they are not overloaded, the plastic wheels roll smoothly on hard surfaces and the big plus is that the entire wheel block is pre-assembled and checked.As with on most skinny carts like this, the wheels only move forward and backward, they don't turn, and you don't want them to turn or it would be difficult to maneuver the cart in tight spaces, even if it doesn't win style awards , is he f Functional and suitable for the average kitchen.
