Versatility is good. I needed a black light to check for dog pee on the carpet. You can focus the spot very precisely and make the light very intense. It's also good that you have alternative light sources, which was good compared to the black light model, which was lost because I only used it occasionally. The USB charging port is great and the battery seems to work well and I've only charged it twice in the last few months. My only concern is that toggling between all options is obsolete if you only need one feature. It would be great if it had separate power and function switches. Finally, one last thing: I don't think it's very water resistant, and I took it off on a rainy day and started to see some condensation inside.
