Review on Incase CL55452 Compact Backpack for 15 Inch laptops by Felicia Gonzalez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

but so far so good. I have a Toshiba Satellite 5

I just got it yesterday and I've only used it once but so far it's great. I have a Toshiba Satellite 5.6 inch laptop and it doesn't fit in a laptop bag, it fits in a backpack. I buy a waterproof laptop bag for extra protection. I was able to fit two laptops, my laptop, power cord, mouse, wallet, phone and my U lock and still had extra space. I bought this to transport my laptop to and from school on the bike. I don't think I'll use it all the time, only when I need to bring my laptop. It's bigger than I'm used to in a backpack, but it's unavoidable because I have a big laptop and need protection. The only thing I don't like about the design is that the straps are so wide and puffy, but most of the backpacks I looked at had the same straps. I really think I'll keep warm with them as they make it easier to carry heavy things. I loaded up my backpack this morning and have never felt uncomfortable lugging it on foot or bike. I like the handle on the top of the bag so I can easily hold it with one hand and fish in the bag with the other hand. The structure is great too. It doesn't change shape depending on whether it's full or empty. And how many bags! There's even a small backpack with a fluffy lining on top, I guess for sunglasses? I'm not sure how this backpack will serve me in the summer (where I live it's over 100 degrees) with something on my back. /shoulders will make you sweat, but I like it for fall and winter. And I look forward to traveling with it as hand luggage. After all, it's not black-black. It's a bit dark grey. But it still looks good.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other models
