Already silvered traces of a very cheap mirror. No problem. I contacted Kohler expecting a replacement. Here is their response: Thank you for contacting Kohler Co. We apologize for the inconvenience. The mirror removes silver. This is not considered a defect. This is due to too much moisture in the bathroom, using the wrong cleaning products, or your fingers touching the mirror. The reflection between the glass and the door will begin to recede, making it black or brown in that area. The only remedy here is to buy a new door. The cost of a new door is $99.40. I've included a link below so you can use it to buy a new door if you'd like. AFTER <6 MOS? To be honest I have bought other Kohler products for my Renault and the quality of all their products has come down a lot. . I don't know why, but my guess is that like many of these companies these days, they moved production to China to appease the accountants and increase profit margins.
