Review on Carmex Lip balm Classic tube by Ada Fedorowicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I had the same balm, but with cherry, and after some throwing (the cherry version was terrible in taste and smell), I decided to take the original version. And, I must say, it is much better! Its smell is unpleasant, but quite tolerable, it tastes disgusting, so it’s better not to lick your lips, but, again, it’s better than cherry. In metaphor, this taste and smell is the child of the Fruit Kiss lip balm and the legendary Golden Star balm (honestly, I haven't eaten them). However, all this is not so important when it comes to effectiveness: the original Carmex is an SOS lip product. Not suitable for every day (paradox: it starts to dry lips), but for emergencies it is ideal. It is worth applying at night - and in the morning the lips are moisturized, do not peel off, without cracks, even if in the evening they looked like a cracked desert. I also use it a few hours before applying matte lipstick to minimize its drying effect, it helps a lot.

Pros
  • Moisturizing and healing lips, cost-effective, convenient packaging.
Cons
  • Smell, taste.
