I don't really know if this product strengthens hair or not. My hair was colored in all directions so I can't say I've noticed a significant improvement in strength. What I do know for sure is that if you have Einstein and Grandma (The Addams Family) combination hair like I do, this product is a great conditioner. This allows you to brush your hair with less pain after washing it and makes your hair less dry and more silky. to the ends so that my hair doesn't go crazy until the next wash. Five stars for its use as a conditioner so you can detangle tangles without too much pain. If there is an added benefit, all the better.
