This mop works great on my hardwood floors. I bought it a month ago and I have no regrets. This is a great alternative to the Swiffer which I feel is overpriced with its disposable poles. Microfiber is a much better option since you can wash it when you're done. Less waste, more efficiency. The quality corresponds to the price and the assembly is very easy. There are four poles that you clip together before putting on the mop. The cool thing is that you can adjust the length of the mop depending on how many sticks you connect. I usually use three sections for mopping and four when I get to high places like windows. For the fabric at the bottom there is a velcro that you use. The kit comes with both wet and dry pads and while either will work I prefer the former. I use it with my vinegar cleaner and it cleans well. The only thing is that seal replacement parts are hard to come by, so you'll probably have to use third-party replacement parts. I took some turbo microfiber pads and they work well for the mop. The size is very similar and you can also use it with Velcro. Another complaint I have...the mop came with a lot of packaging. How much. For some reason there were two boxes, one inside the other. I suspect the first was used to ship the Revain product. It seemed to me excess, it seemed to me that I turned forever! However, that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a great mop and a great product. For less than $20 I'd say it's definitely worth the money. Just keep in mind that you will likely need to purchase additional spacers at some point.
