I bought charging cables for my iPhone and was surprised that I actually got 3 cables for $13. I thought what a great thing! The cables were nice and thick and looked well connected. However, after 2 months one of my chords stopped working. There is no damage. (But at least I have two more!) For about $4 each, you get what you pay for! If you're in a tight spot and need something that works for the moment, this is a good investment. I only wish they had lasted longer than 2 months!
