I have a waterproof MP3 player for swimming. The included headphones are fine, but the cushions damage my ear canals if I insert them far enough to cover them. This chewing gum was easy to use. I followed the instructions but just molded the earbuds without installing the earbuds first. After the goo set, I used a drill (and my fingers, not a drill) to drill an appropriately sized hole in the connector and my liners fitted nicely. Ear tower, as this helps keep the earplug in place and makes it harder to confuse which ear is which. After about 5 months of swimming 5 days a week, my molded earbuds finally fell apart. While looking for something else to order, I tried to poke a hole in the Christmas tree style earbuds that came with the kit. They turned out to be perfect for my ear and for my MP3 player! But the foam works and is very comfortable. YMMV.
