I bought these baskets for a specific purpose: to organize groceries in our fridge. They work very well. We keep sandwich meat in one, cheese in another, and small jars of spices in a third. I find if something is leaking it's a lot easier to pull out the basket and clean it than trying to get to the back of the fridge to wipe down the shelves. It also means that we keep the fridge door open shorter because we can just pull out the basket(s) and close the fridge door immediately while we work on the contents of the baskets, for example to prepare a sandwich or something else. . I even keep jars of chia seed pudding or yogurt in another basket. It really helps to tidy up the fridge and keep it clean. No more sticky and nasty messes on the fridge shelf. The colors are soft and pretty — not flashy at all — and colors help with organization too, like pink for meat sandwiches, yellow for cheese, blue for chia seed pudding. or yoghurt etc. The baskets are the perfect size, even sized so I have no complaints at all.
