I was looking to upgrade my old Azden WLX-PRO (built 2002, bought 2013) and after countless searches finally settled on Comica BoomX as it had what I wanted (USB via my old 9v, two mics/transmitters, less bulky) and everything was great until I tested them side by side. Wow! They hissed extremely, like an old worn out Black Sabbath cassette. I thought the mic might be of poor quality so I bought a Sony mic to try and it was just as bad. My old Azden is much better in sound quality and when I tried the Sony mic on the Azden I was blown away! The quality was amazing and we will be returning this comica. I wanted to like them because they had everything I wanted except the most important part, the sound quality. Also, Revain didn't account for price adjustments since they went on sale at a 20% discount (almost $50 off!) and stated that their policy doesn't adjust prices after purchase. Essentially I could send them back and buy them again for a discount, a pretty pathetic revain. ViewFlex/Comica was truly amazing and gave me the difference back. As I don't care about quality it doesn't matter but it's great that they keep their brand alive.
