Great for repairing torn edges on an expensive bag and giving it a new look! After sanding down the cracked edges of my straps, it took LOTS of thin coats to get a professional looking edge. I applied the product with cotton swabs; Make sure you have a box of cotton swabs as you will need to change them frequently to keep the application clean. Also, the first few layers are the most difficult and time consuming, once you get a sort of "base coat" of the product, the remaining layers are easier to apply. I layered until I had the original shine and opacity my bag had when it was new - it took maybe 35 layers! I didn't count but worked on it since I had two weeks. It helps to have a steady hand and paper towels to quickly wipe away any product that smudges on another part of the skin (after the product dries, it stays forever). Another tip: there was a spillage problem early in the trial, and rubbing alcohol helped remove the evidence from my purse. I've been using the bag for about a month and I definitely recommend this product.
