I feel obligated to mention right off the bat that I purchased it from Amazon using points and a discount for only 765, despite the fact that the regular price is approximately 1600. Before making the purchase, I carefully read the reviews, and although I was prepared to overlook the "deficiencies" that were mentioned in those reviews, I was surprised to find that I did not experience anything similar to what was described. In response to the criticisms that have been leveled at this product here: it does not make any creaking sounds, it is put together very well, and it does not appear in the least bit inexpensive. It takes some effort to scroll the wheel, and it also takes some effort to press it (which is extremely useful for me), and it stands perfectly still on the table. It connects to the laptop immediately, it responds appropriately to movements, and the pointer does not wander off to any other location. The signal does not become lost. In a nutshell, there are no issues with my copy; perhaps other people have gotten married. The only negative is that after a brief period of inactivity, you have to give it a little bit of a jolt to get it going again, but as far as I can tell, this is a characteristic of mice of this type.
