Perfect for occasional fashion-wear

If you are looking for an inexpensive pair of "cowboy boots" for occasional wear, then these are perfect! They are not super high-quality nor made of super high-quality material.but they aren't really bad quality either. The suede-like outer fabric will last a bit longer if sprayed with suede/fabric protector. They aren't built for heavy-duty use. However, as someone who doesn't really wear western-style boots, but they do have their place in the fashion world, and I've always wanted a pair of "cowboy boots" for very occasional wear with one or two of my outfits.and wasn't looking for super long-lasting, very high quality expensive leather boots. These boots are attractive, have the classic "cowboy boot"-look. They are actually quite comfortable, and they fit true-to-size. I generally wear a size 9 in women's, I ordered a size 9, and they fit like a size 9. So that's a plus in my book. They can be worn with a pair of thick socks, without making them too tight.I do not have narrow feet by any means, but I don't have very wide feet either. These look more narrow towards the toe, but don't feel too narrow/tight.The decorative embroidery is simple, and well done. No loose threads at all!The heel has a rubber tread, making them somewhat non-slip. The rest of the sole of these boots is a firm, dense foam-like material. These won't hold up to daily/heavy winter wear (in snowy parts of the country, like upstate NY where I live), but they will do just fine in the summer, fall, spring, and will hold up to a couple snowy days in the winter. They have a little bit of give/flexibility when walking, making them pretty comfortable. They are roomy in the ankle and calf area, without being too wide/loose/sloppy looking. So if you have thicker calves, these should work well for you! These work well with leggings, skinny jeans, and shorts. They are just narrow enough in calf area to be worn with boot-cut jeans without pushing the circumference of boot cut/flare style pants and changing the style. The ankle and calf area is flexible, but doesn't slouch down or look sloppy.All-in-all, I'd say these are a really choice if you are simply looking for the occasional wear of this type of boot, just for the "cowboy boot"-style, but won't wear this type of boot enough to justify the high price tag of higher-end, high quality leather cowboy boots. These are for fashion, as opposed to daily heavy wear on the farm or ranch.
