I love these stools! I ordered 3 and they are perfect. However, when I placed them against my kitchen cabinets, the walnut tree collided. So I had to choose between sending them back or getting them dirty. I disassembled a brand new stool that really broke my heart and started painting the first stool. I realized that the walnut grain is actually a laminate and the stain will not soak in or dry out. So I removed the stain, bought a can of spray paint and painted all three stools. After all the hard work, it all paid off. Five stars for Armen Living's customer service who sent me 24 plastic caps free of charge to replace the ones I had to take off and ruin.
