The Seeeduino Grove ADK Dash Kit is an excellent and very useful learning system. This board and associated parts are not intended for use by newcomers to embedded technology. Anyone using this board should be familiar with Android development and have a good understanding of the Java language. The original instructions for using this board can be found on the Seeeduino ADK Wiki. I was able to complete all the demos as shown in the wiki. Prospective buyers of this kit should understand that the Seeeduino board itself must be programmed in the same way as the Android device intended to be used with the board. In my case I am using a Samsung Charge smartphone with Android V2.3.3. The Seeduino board is programmed using the IDE found on the Arduino site and the Android device is programmed using the Eclipse IDE with the ADB plugin. As I already mentioned; You must be familiar with the technologies I mentioned or you will be disappointed, as the previous reviewer was evident. Final word - I'm an IT professor at a local university and also a professional embedded systems developer with 36 years of experience.
