The size fits perfectly! I'm 5ft 3in, 160lbs and the XL size was very comfortable. The waistband wasn't tight and these are the first pair of cycling shorts that have NOT cut into my stomach. Love the material, love the fit. I didn't like how it worked. The padding was too thin! I felt my hard bike seat after about 5 miles and 25. It was a painful ride most of the time. My ass hurts right now. I only did a short ride but I can say they are definitely not thick enough for long distances. I'm glad I didn't use them for a whole day trip! I recommend them to non-professional drivers.
