I needed strap extenders for my LV Pouchette but due to the high prices I decided to cut a long chain into two smaller ones. This chain was very good. Reviews so I gave it a try for the price. The chain is heavy but just like luxury bag chains. Definitely not flimsy, although lower quality fasteners. One of my fasteners is stuck open, but I didn't want to put my project on hold with an exchange, so I'll take care of it. The individual links ARE openable so you can make the chain shorter or split it up like I did by removing the middle section. GREAT PRODUCT for crafts and accents. I personally wouldn't use these as a shoulder chain if you wear 47" due to the weight, but great for bracelets or a shorter crossbody bag.
