Review on AfterShokz OpenMove Wireless Headphones, alpine white by Micha Puzio ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I didnt see good quality, solid disadvantages.

This gizmo is very in style right now. The appearance is intriguing and novel. You can decide for yourself if you need to buy this after reading my review. One, the quality of the music playback is usually low. As simplistic and devoid of nuance as possible. Even I have to admit that it was making some very loud gasping noises. You'll have to crank up the volume if you want to run in them on the street, and then you won't be able to enjoy the music at all. The sound quality is about the same as the free headphones included with low-end smartphones. Keep in mind that the gym will likely have its own music playing in the background while you're working out, so you'll have to pay attention to both of them. Conversation partners report normal hearing conditions when using the microphone in a closed, quiet environment. The walkie-talkie has a minimal impact on communication, as this is allegedly how noise reduction functions. The connection is quick and stable even over great distances. Fourth, the materials used are high-quality and, in principle, won't wear out with time. To sum up, I was duped by a slew of reviews and articles into purchasing a pair of headphones that serve double duty as both a lightweight headset and an acceptable alternative to more generic ear plugs when it comes to music listening. They are also useless on the subway. If you put your fingers in your ears, the sound will be louder, but the quality will suffer. Devices probably end up on the floor of the store more often than not. In fact, I plan on exclusively using it as a headset for my business communications.

Pros
  • Very comfortable and lightweight.
Cons
  • Terribly distorted music playback.
