Update adapters now and download updated instructions from their website! The adapter has unexpected features that you need to work around. For example, if you turn on the Image Stabilizer on a Canon lens and turn the camera off before the Image Stabilizer motor stops, the Image Stabilizer elements will not park in the lens barrel and rattle. You can prevent this by either turning off image stabilization on the lens before turning off the camera, or by waiting for the image stabilization motor to stop. I also had my camera become unresponsive and warm after turning it off, which was resolved after removing and replacing the battery. It's a great addition to my bag and made the transition from Canon to Fuji painless, but you have to develop new habits. These are the third party costs.
